The Future Is Here with the AMC Portal System

In cooperation with Omni Aspect, Croatia Control (CCL) participated for the first time at the 63rd ATCA Annual Conference and Exposition which took place September 30 – October 3, 2018, in Washington.
CCL presented the AMC Portal at the biggest gathering in America in the air traffic control sector, with around 3,000 visitors coming from more than 40 countries.
The AMC Portal is a comprehensive operational airspace management tool encompassing ASM, UTM, and briefing functionalities, which has been in operational use in Croatia since June 2017. It is unique as it enables direct communication between airspace users, competent ATC units, and the national airspace management system.
Legal integration of the UAS/RPAS airspace users into the national airspace management system via the AMC Portal is one of the most significant achievements, making the tool one of a kind in the world.
Great interest was shown in the product, including that of the high representatives of the Federal Aviation Administration and the United States Department of Defense, and the collaboration is expected to continue.
