The Future Is Here with the AMC Portal System

Year in and year out, innovations in the aviation industry keep growing with the emergence of disruptive technologies in air traffic management and a need for fine-tuned systems to manage these innovations. For several years, the World ATM Congress has been an event that has managed to bring stakeholders, experts, air navigation service providers, and industry players together under one massive roof.

The 2019 WATM in Madrid converged over 250 exhibitors coupled with 251 session.

During the event, Croatia Control’s experts presented the new functionalities of the AMC Portal System that have been developed since the last WATM in 2018. These new functionalities are mostly connected to the field of UAS operations and their safe integration into airspace. The AMC Portal Mobile application went operational in January 2019, making the UAS users experience better by giving them faster and safer access to airspace.

Specially designed procedures for the UAS operations of emergency services have also been included in the system, making it indispensable for everyday emergency operations. All these new functionalities brought to our stand many experts in the field, who wanted to see the demonstration of a live and operational ASM/UTM system.
